Dr. Shivanand Maharaj  aka 'Dr Shiv' is a Specialist Otolaryngologist - Head & Neck Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in medicine. He is also sub-specialized in the endoscopic treatment of sino-nasal and anterior skull base disorders.

Dr. Shiv obtained his medical degree and surgical residency from the University of the West Indies - which included international electives in the US and Jamaica.

His dedication to advancing his expertise led him to pursue advanced fellowship training in Sinus and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery (Rhinology) at the internationally renowned University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

During this fellowship, he gained specialized expertise in complex sinus surgeries, endoscopic skull base procedures, and the management of other conditions such as sleep apnea under the mentorship of world leaders in the field.

With a passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches to care,  Dr. Shiv is committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing the field through research and education.
